Prayer Shawls are made to be given to people who hurt - those who are grieving, lonely, homebound or in physical need - both those within our congregation and those beyond. If you know of anyone who could benefit from one of these shawls, please leave their name and phone number in the book located with the display in the fellowship hall or you may call one of the co-leaders: Danielle Oxendine (501-655-6791) or Cathy Scheideler (450-5029.)
Wee Care meets on the fourth Saturday of the month at 9:30 am.
We invite all stitchers to join us in making little smocked gowns for delivery to area hospitals for at-risk infants. There is great need for these gowns as well as for knit caps. If you have never worked on this project before, come anyway, as someone will be happy to teach you.
We will begin taking a soup and bread meal once a week to the shut-in that is listed in the weekly bulletin. It is a small and simple gesture of kindness and fellowship to those who cannot worship with us that week. If you would like to participate, you will deliver your soup and bread choice. Look for the sign up sheet in the fellowship hall.
