Youth Faith Formation
Our confirmation ministry at Messiah is named "CrossMark." This is a not so subtle reminder that we have all been Marked with the Cross of Christ at Baptism. Confirmation then is that time in a young person's life, usually during the middle school years, when the church leads them to examine closely their CrossMark-ed life and the call to continue in the baptized life today and every day from now on. CrossMark youth meet Wednesday evenings in the downstairs middle school youth room from 6:30–8:00 pm.

The Luther League Wednesday Night Bible Study meets Wednesdays in the high school youth room from 6:30–8:00 pm.
On Sunday, Oct. 12, 5:30-7:30 pm, LYNK (Lutheran Youth ‘N Knoxville) will have its next event at St. John's Lutheran downtown. Plan to eat before you come. St. John's will proved dessert at the conclusion of the evening.
What is LYNK?
LYNK is a multi-congregation, Knoxville region, high school youth fellowship & service group. Bigger than any one congregation, LYNK is your opportunity to network with other Lutheran Youth and participate in monthly fellowship and service events. Initial events will be hosted by either Faith, Messiah, or St. John’s Lutheran Church. But, all events are open to all Lutheran high school youth from any congregation in the Knoxville and surrounding area.
