About the event
Three prominent Lutheran churches in Knoxville (Messiah, Peace and St. John’s) are coming
together to host a week-long vacation bible school day camp to Knoxville June 3-7, 2024 from
8:45 am to 4:00 pm!
Lutheridge, a popular Lutheran camp will send their college-age counselors
to act as mentors and guides. They care for children and share their witness to the importance of
God in their own lives. Staff members are carefully screened, selected, and trained.
Day Camp is for kids who have finished Kindergarten through 5th grade. A half day option is
available for 3 to 5 year olds. Messiah Lutheran Church (6900 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN)
will serve as the host location. Morning snacks, lunch and afternoon snacks will be provided.
Children will have fun and find common ground with diverse friends.
Through activities, they will grow in independence, discover gifts and talents, and practice new skills. Creative activities
will include games, songs, skits, and crafts! Most importantly, they will encounter Jesus through relationships, music, and worship.
